BENEFITS TO GIVING ONLINE
There are several benefits to online giving for both you and the church. We are taught, in Proverbs 3:9 to honor the Lord with the “First Fruits” of our labor. You have the power to ensure that your First Fruits are returned to God every day/week/or month that you specify to come out of your account.
You won’t have to try and remember when you gave or for how much. If you are out of town you won’t have to worry about sending in an offering check.
When you give online you won’t have to worry about your check being lost or stolen. Online giving is more secure than writing a check.
Now you no longer have to be concerned with being distracted during worship service because you’re writing a check. You can focus on God and the message He would have you to hear.
It is a big help to First Baptist Church of Woodlawn, as far as simplifying our financial records, when you give online. It is more cost-effective for the church to process online contributions as well.
SECURITY STANDARDS
We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your data is secured by SSL encryption. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies, such as Amazon.com, to keep your information secure during transactions.
Access to your profile first requires that you authenticate through our Login Profile System. This is accomplished by entering your unique login and password. Please help us keep your login information safe by protecting that information and not sharing it with others. Don’t let someone else use your account or leave your information open for others to see. Also, remember that First Baptist Church of Woodlawn will NEVER call you and ask for your login information.
Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution that would come out of your account according to the way you set it up.
If I wanted to set up a recurring contribution, what are my options?
For recurring gifts, you can give weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month. The choice is yours
Will I receive a contribution statement?
If you give over $250 throughout the year, we will mail your year-end statement directly to your home address.If you give less than $250 and would like a statement, please call the office at 931-647-3581
Can I change anything about my giving information once I have set it up?
Yes. You can change and/or cancel contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution.
